Sapphy's Star - What's it all about?

We are asking you to nominate businesses for a Sapphy’s Star Award. These will be awarded for providing a genuinely sapphic-friendly service. It doesn’t matter to us whether a business is gay-owned or not – it does matter that we get a service that is just as good as that provided to our straight friends. There’s a big difference between advertising yourself as gay-friendly and actually being gay-friendly so these awards are for extolling the virtues of those businesses who are treating us with high levels of customer service.

All you have to do is nominate your favourite sapphic-centred business. Drop us an email here giving us as much information as you can as to why your nomination ought to win a Sapphy Star award. You’ll need to include the following information:

• Your name and contact details (name, email address, phone number, postal address)
• The name of the business/business owner who you are nominating and their industry
• The contact details of the business/business owner (including postal address, phone number, contact name and email address if you have it)
• Your reason for nominating this business – why is the service they provide so special?

We'll give our nominations a bit of a write-up and whilst nominations are obviously subjective and not an official endorsement by Sapphic Central, it would be nice to know that someone, somewhere has received a fantastic service from those included.
